Description:

NEW LOCATION! We are very excited to announce the new home for the 5th Annual Stuff the Sleigh 5K.  We have relocated to the Texas Road House - Mount Pleasant, WI  location. Starting at McBride Park on Hwy 31 and Hwy 11, you run through the beautifully wooded county bike path and Stewart-McBride Park, ending at Texas Roadhouse for  a great after party with lots of door prizes and a great run in between!. YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE THIS NEW ROUTE!!!

Why the change? One of our missions at 5Kevents.org is to get people out and about while taking advantage of the beautiful trail system here in Racine County. This section of trail we feel is a hidden gem and allows us to expose a portion of the trail system many have not used. It's important for us to maintain alternate routes throughout the year. A change of scenery and an effort to utilize all of the Racine area trail system throughout the year.

ALSO NEW THIS YEAR! We have added a kid's run before the start of the 5K. Bring out the whole family. Kid's participants will receive a finisher medal. T-Shirt will not be included with registration but will be available for purchases during the registration process.

Stuff the Sleigh 5K ® benefits The Veterans Outreach and Tex Reynold Toys for Tots. See the needs of these great organizations below. Donations help local families in need during the holiday season!

Don’t feel like running? You can still join this great community event. Come to Texas Roadhouse between 7 and 11 a.m. to drop off non-perishable foods or Toys that will go directly to the Charities. We will also have Bags of Peanuts for sale that include a free appetizer at Texas Roadhouse. 100% of the proceeds benefit The Veterans Outreach!  Stay to cheer for the runner and walkers or get involved: volunteers are still  needed on race day to provide on-site help such as setting up before the race, supporting participants during the race, and clean-up. Come for an hour or stay for the entire event--we will find something that interests you!
